Mr Tusk said the UK must respect its money related duties to the EU

The draft rules, issued by European Council President Donald Tusk, contend for a "staged approach" in talks.

The draft will be sent to the 27 part states for endorsement. They will set the tone for a long time of transactions.

England formally set off the Brexit procedure on Wednesday.

It had called for synchronous chats on leave terms and future exchange ties.

In a news gathering in Malta on Friday, Mr Tusk clarified that "beginning parallel chats on all issues in the meantime as proposed by some in the UK won't occur".

"Just once we have accomplished adequate advance on the withdrawal would we be able to talk about the system for our future relationship," he said.

Mr Tusk included that while the discussions would be "troublesome, complex and here and there even angry", the EU would not "seek after a correctional approach".
Brexit separate: 'cognizant uncoupling' or intense separation?
